Randstad USA is partnering with a premier manufacturing organization to hire a skilled Header Brazier in Richmond, VA. This essential role braze coil components according to technical drawings and specifications, with a focus on craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, have basic math skills, and possess strong manual dexterity. Requirements include high school education, 4 years of experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work the 3 PM–11

• Flex to assist in other departments as needed.

Are you a precision-focused professional with a steady hand and a great attitude? Randstad is partnering with a premier manufacturing organization to find a skilled Header Brazer. In this essential role, your department will be responsible for successfully brazing coil components together utilizing technical specifications and drawing information. What You Need to Succeed

• Technical Skills: Ability to accurately read technical drawings and possess a basic understanding of math.
• Dexterity & Vision: Excellent manual dexterity and hand stability for precision and mirror work. You must be able to move your arm, hand, and fingers in many directions and see details at close range for long periods.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs unassisted. You must be able to stand for long periods, stoop or bend frequently, step up and down onto a table platform several times an hour, and walk to deliver jobs to the citric bath at least once an hour.
• Soft Skills: strong verbal communication skills and a dedicated team player. You should be able to easily follow directions from your supervisor or lead.
• Mindset: Open to constructive criticism and possessing a positive, can-do attitude in the face of challenges.

(Note: Supervisor skills are not applicable or required for this role.)

What You Will Do

• Assemble and braze jobs precisely to the specifications provided by the drawing and work order.
• Assemble header pipes, header stubs, and connections according to mechanical drawings.
• Expertly utilize a brazing torch to braze materials.
• Retrieve items from the WIP (Work in Progress) lane and properly place them on your work table.
• Bring completed jobs to the tank for necessary cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to strict 5S standards.
• Collaborate daily with other employees on safety, quality, production, and delivery goals.
• Flexibility to take on additional duties or assist in other departments as business needs change.
