Job Title: Traditional Brazer

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 /hr.

Schedule: 40 hrs/Week.

Responsibilities

• Push the table to the brazing area.
• Assemble return bends, headers, and distributors on the coil per the drawings.
• Braze components to the coil per the client specifications and the information on the drawing.
• Use a brazing torch to braze material.
• Collaborate with other employees on safety, quality, production, and delivery.
• Push or pull larger items, pallets, and coils on carts.
• Identify and tag unsafe equipment.
• Maintain a 5S standard clean environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly or electrical work.
• Ability to accurately read drawings.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand stability for precision work.
• Strong team player with verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of math and ability to follow supervisor or lead directions.
• Positive attitude in the face of challenges.
• Willingness to understand the assembly of coils.

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Upon offer of employment, subject to a background check.
• Safely lift to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Stand for long periods and stoop/bend frequently.
• Sit for long periods of time.
• Walk to retrieve jobs from the table at least once an hour.
• Walk to deliver jobs to the citric bath at least once an hour.
• Lift to 25 lbs for copper and 50 lbs for steel headers.
• Step up and down onto the table platform several times an hour.
• Move wrist, arm, hand, and fingers in many directions.
