Job summary

Macquarie Group seeks a Credit Risk Manager to oversee credit risk for a diversified portfolio, with a primary focus on Brazil. You will lead assessments, monitor exposures, and collaborate with front office on structured transactions spanning trading and lending activities.

You will travel to Brazil regularly, bringing strong financial analysis skills and Portuguese fluency to build risk-informed decisions across CMF in the Americas and EMEA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a credit, risk or finance role with knowledge of the Brazilian market across power, agricultural commodities and oil.
• Strong financial analysis skills, familiar with financial and physical commodity products.
• Ability to identify key risks in structured transactions and communicate risk judgments clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit assessments and ongoing monitoring for CMF’s Brazil business and Americas/EMEA exposures.
• Provide clear written analysis and recommendations on credit limits and ratings.
• Collaborate with front office on structured lending and trading transactions.
