Odyssey recently launched in Brazil in partnership with Nura Soluções to bring a suite of financial technology products to the market, including residential solar loan marketplaces, supply chain financing for EPCs, and procurement credit for distributors..

About the Account Executive role

The Account Executive will support key account relationships and provide account management support for companies across the renewable energy ecosystem in Brazil, including developers, IPPs, EPCs, and equipment manufacturers. The role includes performing financial analysis, supporting day-to-day business operations, coordinating with internal teams, and engaging with external stakeholders.x

The Account Executive will report to the Country Director - Brazil.

You are a detail-oriented and dynamic professional with a strong network in the Brazilian renewable energy sector. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are a self-starter, and are committed to delivering excellent client experiences. You manage multiple priorities, anticipate client needs, and have strong communication and relationship-building skills.

You understand the financial due diligence process for small and medium-sized enterprises and large corporations in Brazil. You bring expertise in credit analysis, business development, project execution, and client support. You have experience in the Brazilian renewable energy market and have existing relationships in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships, coordinate with the Country Director, and support partner engagement.

  • Execute transactions, ensuring timely billing, collections, and process compliance.

  • Lead business development efforts and onboard new clients.

  • Conduct financial analysis and support credit memo preparation.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and CRM updates.

  • Participate in meetings and coordinate follow-ups across internal teams.

  • Engage EPCs, distributors, and integrators through the Nura Soluções partnership.

  • Contribute to the structuring of a local investment fund (FIDC), supporting the investment thesis, credit analysis, origination strategy, and fundraising with potential investors

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduate / Postgraduate equivalent from a reputed institution.

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in business development, and account management roles, particularly within financial institutions or the renewable energy industry, is advantageous.

  • Proficient in Excel financial modeling and conducting due diligence for the review of financial statements.

  • Exemplary presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport with client teams.

  • Extensive experience with CRM systems, such as HubSpot, Zoho, etc.

  • Proactive mindset with the capability to excel in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, accompanied by a strong orientation towards processes and detail.

  • Adaptable team player demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines.

  • Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential.
