Qualifications

• Basic math comprehension

• Ability to operate automatic braze lines and electrical induction heating equipment
• Ability to assemble conical bit bodies, braze material, and carbide tips
• Ability to inspect parts to established ISO requirements

Responsibilities

• Braze carbide tips onto steel bodies on automatic braze lines and inspect components
• Perform pre-operation checks for machines and work areas
• Conduct safety inspections for machines and equipment
• Assemble conical bit bodies, braze material, and carbide tips
• Operate braze lines to meet daily production targets
• Support changeovers and ensure on-time due dates
• Track materials and optimize equipment usage to reduce costs
• Manage work-in-progress inventory and components like carbide, braze, flux, and steel bodies
• Record production and quality data accurately and promptly
• Participate in lean events and daily TPM and 5S activities
