Job summary

Solar Atmospheres is seeking a 1st Shift Braze Technician/Operator in Hatfield, PA (Mon-Fri, 6:45AM–3:15PM). You will assemble and fixture braze parts, verify dimensions, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, reads English work instructions, and can read detailed drawings. Prior brazing or manufacturing experience is preferred; training is provided for motivated, mechanically inclined individuals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English.
• Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Able to lift, bend, reach and stand daily.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Prior brazing experience preferred. (Welding, soldering experience a plus)
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work and overcome obstacles to obtain positive results.

Responsibilities

• Properly assemble and fixture parts for braze runs.
• Check dimensions against drawings and customer requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and an orderly work area.
• Accurately assemble braze parts per drawings and/or work instructions.
• Inspect parts post-processing to ensure they adequately meet customer requirements.
• Ensure parts are properly packaged according to customer specifications and to avoid damage when shipped or delivered.
• Work efficiently while ensuring company quality standards are maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Braze Technician/Operator (Monday through Friday 6:45AM to 3:15PM) to join our busy production facility in Hatfield, PA.

The ideal candidates should be dependable and punctual with an excellent work ethic and a willingness to learn. Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred. However, we are willing to train motivated and mechanically inclined individuals.
