Job description

Braze carbide tips onto steel bodies through electrical induction heating on automatic braze lines
Perform visual inspection of all components during assembly
Perform pre-operation checks for individual machines and work areas
Conduct required safety inspections for machines and associated equipment
Assemble conical bit bodies, braze material, and carbide tips
Operate braze lines to meet or exceed assigned daily production rates
Support functions and changeovers to meet established due dates
Track and troubleshoot materials used and ensure efficient equipment use to reduce cost
Manage work-in-progress inventory and components, including carbide, braze, flux, and steel bodies
Perform specified cycle counts
Participate in lean events and use lean processes in daily duties
Perform daily TPM activities on associated equipment
Perform daily 5S activities for the work area
Gather and post established metrics
Accurately and timely record production and quality data
