Job summary

Tia is seeking a Technical CRM & QA Specialist to support lifecycle email and SMS programs. You will QA Braze canvases, validate Liquid logic and rendering, and troubleshoot issues, ensuring messages reach audiences on schedule.

This part-time remote role averages ~10 hours/week and offers flexible scheduling. Work with lifecycle and engineering teams to improve messaging reliability, QA campaigns, and automations, with occasional overlap for weekly reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building, QAing, and troubleshooting Braze Canvases and campaigns (Segmenter, Connected Content, custom attributes/events).
• Advanced Liquid scripting with conditional logic, arrays, loops, and fallback handling.
• Experience with email HTML/CSS, cross-client rendering, and technical SMS requirements.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, and data flows into CRM platforms.
• Experience documenting bugs in Jira/Asana and creating QA checklists.
• Availability around 10 hours per week with light meeting overlap.

Responsibilities

• QA Braze Canvases and campaigns before launch, including audience segments, triggers, and criteria.
• Validate Liquid logic, rendering, HTML, responsiveness, dark mode, tracking, and UTM params across devices.
• QA SMS content, character counts, encoding, shortened links, and opt-out functionality.
• Review targeting, rate limits, frequency caps, and quiet hours pre-launch; monitor delivery and conversions after launch.
• Periodically audit active flows for correct data inputs and triggers.
• Troubleshoot delivery failures, webhook errors, Connected Content issues, and data sync problems.
• Write clear, reproducible bug tickets with steps, context, and fixes for engineering.
