Job Summary

A Line Cook is an hourly, non-exempt Family Member who reports directly to the Executive Chef. The role involves providing quality service in all areas of food production, maintaining organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of the menu, recipes, and ingredients, ensuring proper preparation to meet standards.
  • Quickly learn new recipes, techniques, and menu updates.
  • Follow recipes for consistency.
  • Answer guests' and family members' questions regarding the menu.
  • Contribute to food cost management through proper inventory rotation.
  • Maintain knowledge of property layouts, table setups, and operational hours.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, prices, preparation methods, quality standards, and presentation.
  • Be organized, focused, and able to multitask efficiently.
  • Perform physical movements required for the job.
  • Work with minimal supervision while adhering to sanitation and health regulations.
  • Meet with Chefs to review assignments and operational details.
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
