The Menchey School of Music is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable brass instructor for our Gambrills studio. You will teach private brass lessons, foster a positive learning environment, and help students grow musically through recitals and performance opportunities.

Join a supportive, education-focused team with administrative backing, on-site studio coordination, and regular recital events that encourage student growth and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college-level music training plus 5 years teaching or performance experience, or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in music education, performance, or related field preferred; degree in progress welcomed
• Experience working with learners of all ages and skill levels is preferred
• Ability to pass initial and recurring background checks every three years

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, personalized, and effective private lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Create a positive, encouraging, and educational lesson environment
• Help students grow musically, prepare for recitals, and participate in performances
• Communicate timely and professionally with students, parents, and staff
• Keep accurate attendance and lesson records using our digital scheduling system
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and enthusiasm every day
