Job summary

Varley is seeking a hands-on Visual Merchandising & Operations Manager for our Brentwood store in California. You will drive visual strategy, inventory accuracy and stockroom standards while leading a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Collaborate with Store Manager and VM/Operations teams to execute collection launches, replenishment, and peak trading readiness, ensuring brand standards and commercial goals are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ retail leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and visual awareness with ability to connect product presentation, stock availability and trading performance.
• Strong understanding of store operations and inventory management.
• Able to motivate teams and maintain high standards across FOH and BOH.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with POS and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead VM strategy and store operations on the shop floor and back of house.
• Collaborate with Store Manager, VM, Retail Operations and central teams.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, replenishment and stockroom standards.
• Drive collection launches, stock flows, and peak trading readiness.
• Provide coaching, set expectations, and drive sales through leadership.
• Build a collaborative, accountable culture and report on performance.
