Job summary

Forged Construction in Moscow, Idaho is seeking a dedicated media professional to tell its story across video and social content. The role focuses on producing on-site video across projects and building engaging content for three brands.

You will plan a content calendar, shoot and edit video for reels, TikTok, YouTube, and websites, and manage captions, comments, and local engagement to showcase the people behind the work.

Responsibilities

• Shoot on-site video and photo of projects in progress and completed: new builds, remodels, excavation, and finish work
• Edit short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and long-form (YouTube, website) video, including color, audio, captions, and graphics
• Capture crew, customer testimonial, and behind-the-scenes content that shows the people behind the work
• Maintain and organize camera, audio, drone, and lighting gear and a searchable media library
• Plan and run a content calendar for three brands, with a distinct voice for each
• Post and manage content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant platforms
• Write captions, respond to comments and messages, and build local community engagement
• Supply photo and video for websites, ads, and recruiting campaigns
• Track performance (reach, engagement, follower growth, leads) and report results to leadership monthly
• Stay current on platform trends and adjust content to what works

Founded by Brad and Nicole Covington, Forged handles everything from finish carpentry and handyman work to remodels, excavation, and full new home builds across Latah and Nez Perce counties (ID) and Whitman and Asotin counties (WA).

Video production

• Shoot on-site video and photo of projects in progress and completed: new builds,
