Job summary

Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream in Walnut Creek is seeking an Associate Brand Manager to drive brand performance end-to-end, collaborating with product development, sales, shopper marketing, and finance to fuel growth.

You will activate consumer insights, lead NPD projects, manage brand plans, and champion the consumer across cross-functional teams, delivering innovative experiences and driving share gains.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Brand Marketing experience.
• Experience leading marketing communication projects including digital and media strategies.
• Strong drive for results with analytical skills.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and agency partners.
• Experience developing brand plans and commercialization strategies.
• Ability to influence and lead others.
• Passion for identifying consumer insights and transforming them into product/marketing innovation.
• Ability to translate critical thinking into business results.
• Deep understanding of key P&L drivers.
• Quantitative strength in analyzing data and synthesizing insights.

Responsibilities

• Be a champion for our consumer: use marketplace data to understand demographics and drivers.
• Support annual brand plans to generate demand and sustain brand health including equity, awareness and engagement.
• Flawless execution of brand plans to achieve sales and market share goals.
• Understand retail environment and win at key customers with a bias for action.
• Develop and execute communications plans across channels; lead agency and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support packaging design and implementation for renovations and innovations.
• Manage day-to-day brand budget with attention to savings and optimization.
• Advocate for the brand internally and externally; sell-in brand plans to management and partners.
• Lead and support all new product development projects end-to-end.
