Job summary

Toast is hiring a Senior Brand Designer to shape the Consumer Brand from the ground up, influencing product and marketing across experiences. You’ll own identity systems, motion, sound, and brand tokens while collaborating with engineering, design, and growth teams.

Work spans digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive brand voice in product, marketing, and in-store moments, with leadership visibility across the company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in brand design for consumer products.
• Ability to take a brand strategy to an identity system and an identity system to shipped work.
• Expert in Figma (variables, components, and tokens) and proficient in a motion tool (After Effects or Rive).
• Strong collaborator who leads by example across design, product, marketing, and engineering.
• Ability to explain the rationale behind brand decisions to cross‑functional partners.
• Tinkerer who loves solving problems with bold, practical branding.

Responsibilities

• Brand Vision and Identity: evolve into a complete living identity system.
• Brand in the Product: partner with product designers to embed the brand into the experience.
• Brand in the World: set creative direction for marketing, campaigns, and lifecycle content.
