Toast is seeking a Brand Experience Designer to define and build the consumer-facing brand across product and marketing, ensuring a cohesive voice from app to receipts. You will shape visual language, tone, motion, and how the brand lives in onboarding, loyalty moments, and campaigns.

You’ll partner with product, design, engineering, and marketing to craft a living identity system that scales across Toast’s restaurant and guest experiences, with AI-informed exploration to push the brand forward.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in brand design for consumer products with a portfolio showing brands you built or evolved across product and marketing.
• Able to translate brand strategy into an identity system and shipped work within a product design team.
• Experience within a product design team and familiarity with design systems and tokens.
• Expert in Figma, motion tools, and comfortable prototyping brand moments in code.

Responsabilités

• Evolve the Consumer brand into a complete identity system including visual language, voice, motion, illustration, and photography.
• Bring the brand into the product experience—onboarding, empty states, celebrations, loyalty moments, transitions, and haptics.
• Lead brand storytelling across marketing, lifecycle emails and campaigns to ensure consistent guest experience.
• Shape the brand in restaurant moments (POS, receipts, host stand) so in-app and in-person experiences feel unified.
• Mentor and lead the team, collaborating with designers, writers, engineers, and product managers.
