Job summary

Godfather’s Pizza is seeking a Marketing Communications support role to assist the marketing team and coordinate with franchises, vendors, and departments. The role involves managing the mascot appearance calendar and supporting brand activations, events, and digital content creation.

Ideal candidates will have a marketing/communications background, strong MS Office and CMS skills (WordPress/Hootsuite), and be reliable with weekend availability. Some travel and hands-on content work are expected.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, English or a related field preferred.
• Marketing and/or production related work experience strongly preferred.
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with WordPress, Hootsuite, photography, copywriting, event management, and other CMS a plus.
• Must be a self-starter with high organizational and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation; evening and weekend availability; other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Support the marketing department and collaborate with other GPI departments, vendors, and franchise partners on projects.
• Manage the appearance calendar and coordination for the Godfather’s Pizza brand mascot, The Godfather.
• Attend and support in-store events, community appearances, promotions, and brand activations, including evenings and weekends.
• Capture photo and video content for social media, marketing events, and Godfather appearances.
• Assist with social media shoots and event photography to support campaigns.
• Coordinate content and deadlines via internal project management systems.
• Maintain Godfather’s Pizza online business listings and related directories.
• Support fundraising, newsletters, and franchise marketing initiatives.
