Job summary

Godfather’s Pizza is seeking a Marketing Assistant in Omaha, NE. This full-time admin support role collaborates with the marketing team to support campaigns, events, and brand activations, including evenings and weekends as needed.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with WordPress/Hootsuite. Travel is limited and collaboration with franchise partners is essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, English or a related field is preferred
• Marketing and/or production related work experience strongly preferred
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with WordPress, Hootsuite, photography, copywriting, event management, and other content management systems a plus
• Must be a self-starter
• High organizational and communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Evening and weekend availability as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Manage the appearance calendar and coordination for Godfather’s Pizza brand character/mascot, The Godfather.
• Attend and support in-store events, community appearances, promotional events, and brand activations, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Capture photo and video content for social media, marketing events, and Godfather appearances.
• Assist with social media photoshoots, event photography, and content creation to support brand engagement and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with the communications team to develop, schedule, monitor, and support social media content and community engagement efforts.
• Manage and maintain Godfather’s Pizza online business listings, including Google Business Profiles and related directory platforms.
• Support traditional and non-traditional marketing leads with project coordination, communication, and execution of franchise marketing initiatives.
• Submit and coordinate graphic art and marketing requests through internal project management systems to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Communicate with franchise partners, vendors, and internal departments to support project completion and marketing initiatives.
