Chico's Store in Champaign, IL seeks a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and support leadership duties to uphold brand standards and a culture of hospitality.

You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction, coaching, and driving customer-centered experiences that reflect our values. This is a part-time, in-store role with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products, operate the register, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
