Job description

Our client, a luxury furniture brand, is looking for a Brand Director to join their team full-time, starting as soon as possible.

While the role is primarily remote, you will be required to travel to their offices in Stamford, CT, and Utah several times a year.

As the Brand Director, you will lead the development of the brand's strategy to drive profitability in both core business and new product innovation. You will have one direct report and collaborate with teams to develop category and portfolio strategy, positioning, and go-to-market plans aligned with the brand vision.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive Brand Vision and Strategy: Utilize strong leadership skills and embody the company's core values.
  2. Develop Brand, Category, and Portfolio Strategy: Positioning, architecture, USPs, and jobs-to-be-done to meet business goals.
  3. Lead Annual Brand Planning: Set business objectives informed by data and competitive analyses.
  4. Develop Communication Strategy: Support cross-functional teams in key brand communications across e-commerce, retail, and advertising.
  5. Ensure Long-Term Brand Health: Positioning, messaging, product strategy, and roadmap development for on-time product launches.
  6. Collaborate with Ecommerce and Showroom Teams: Understand customer needs and prioritize focus to enhance the customer experience.
  7. Evaluate Business Performance: Inform strategies and identify optimization opportunities.
  8. Collaborate with Consumer Insights Team: Develop research plans to understand customer journey and identify innovation opportunities.
Requirements
  1. 10+ years of Brand Marketing experience, ideally at a well-known CPG brand.
  2. A strategic thinker who can bring creative opportunities to the table and inspire others to find opportunities for innovation.
  3. A strong leader who can serve as a resource to the direct report and other team members.
  4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  5. A proactive doer with a mindset that no task is too big or small.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
