Instagram Brand Studio in New York, NY is seeking a Brand Designer to bring Instagram's brand to life through visual design, motion, and storytelling. You will craft iconic interactive brand experiences for product surfaces, campaigns, and activations, and define the brand design system to ensure coherence across products and marketing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in brand or identity design with motion/interactive focus.
• Portfolio demonstrating interactive brand experiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional design initiatives and design systems at scale.
• Strong presentation and communication skills to defend design decisions.
• Ability to collaborate with product design, engineering and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Concept, prototype, and produce iconic interactive brand experiences for product surfaces and activations.
• Define and evolve Instagram's brand design system across surfaces and touchpoints.
• Partner with product design and engineering to translate brand intent into shipable patterns.
• Create storyboards, motion studies, prototypes, and design specs communicated clearly.
• Lead cross-functional projects from concept through delivery, communicating with stakeholders.
