Job summary

Blank Street is seeking a multidisciplinary Brand Designer with exceptional video editing skills to elevate our social content and brand moments. You will work across pre-production, design, and post-production to craft engaging assets for Instagram, TikTok and web.

The role emphasizes motion storytelling, a keen eye for typography and image-making, and the ability to turn raw material into compelling campaigns. Brooklyn-based, four days in-person.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in brand design, multimedia design or related creative role.
• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop and Figma; After Effects is a plus.
• Strong portfolio across video editing, image retouching, multimedia content creation and design.
• Experience designing and editing content for social channels (Instagram, TikTok).

Responsibilities

• Pre-Production & Content Development: collaborate with Creative and Marketing before shoots to develop formats and references.
• Social Content Design: create social-first assets like carousels, collages and motion assets.
• Post-Production: assist with image retouching, compositing, feedback rounds and coordination with partners.
• Video Editing & Multimedia: edit videos for social, digital and web, including cuts and edits from footage.
• Campaign Extension: scrub footage to identify moments and repurpose content for new formats.
• Creative Experimentation: introduce new references and techniques to evolve motion and social presence.
• Asset Stewardship: maintain organized working files for easy reuse.
