Job description

Jordan’s is looking for a Brand Designer to bring bold ideas to life and shape how our visual identity shows up everywhere, from digital, social, and email to print, packaging, advertising, and our stores. Like a beautifully designed room, every detail should feel intentional, connected, and memorable. This is your chance to evolve an iconic New England brand, create standout work from concept through production, and help elevate a growing in-house creative team.

This position is located out of our Dedham MA location, working Monday - Friday a hybrid schedule with 2 days in office and 3 days remote.

Why You’ll Love This Job
Shape a Well-Known Brand

Define how Jordan’s shows up across digital, advertising, packaging, and our stores, creating a cohesive and unmistakable brand experience.

Bring Big Ideas to Life

Turn strategy into standout concepts and carry them across every channel with creativity, intention, and impact.

Lead, Elevate, And Build For What’s Next

Guide designers and production artists while creating the systems and tools that raise the bar and help a growing creative team move faster.

What You’ll Do
  • Originate brand and campaign design concepts, transforming strategy and creative briefs into a clear and compelling creative direction.
  • Uphold and evolve Jordan’s design system, including the visual language, standards, and templates that keep creative work consistent and efficient across every channel.
  • Look at the full story behind each creative brief and design every deliverable to play a distinct role within one connected campaign.
  • Manage, mentor, develop, and provide day-to-day direction to designers and production artists.
  • Review and edit creative work, provide thoughtful feedback, and give final approval before projects are released.
  • Design the highest-value creative work and carry concepts through to finished, production-ready assets.
  • Partner with the Photo Studio and Art Director to ensure design, photography, and on-location art direction share one cohesive visual language.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Media, E-Commerce, and Merchandising to create a consistent brand experience across campaigns, product pages, and the sales floor.
  • Build the design tools, templates, systems, and standards needed to support an evolving in-house creative team.
  • Serve as a trusted steward of the Jordan’s brand across every customer touchpoint.
The Impact You’ll Make
Brand Consistency

Create a clear and recognizable visual identity that feels connected across digital, social, email, print, advertising, packaging, and the in-store experience.

Creative Excellence

Raise the quality and effectiveness of the work by establishing strong creative direction and maintaining a high standard from concept through production.

Connected Campaigns

Build campaigns in which every deliverable contributes to one cohesive brand story while serving a clear purpose within its individual channel.

Team Development

Coach and develop designers and production artists, strengthening the team’s creative thinking, technical execution, and overall craft.

Creative Efficiency

Develop practical design systems, standards, and templates that improve consistency, provide structure, and help the team produce high-quality work efficiently.

Cross-Functional Partnership

Bring design, photography, marketing, media, e-commerce, merchandising, and the store experience together through one shared visual direction.

Who You Are
  • You have 7 or more years of brand or graphic design experience, either in-house or at an agency.
  • You have a professional portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual thinking, excellent execution, and a clear design point of view. A social media profile is not considered a portfolio.
  • You have experience owning brand-level or campaign-level creative concepts from initial strategy through final production.
  • You have experience managing and developing designers and/or production artists, with the ability to lead a small team, direct its work, and elevate the craft of the entire design function.
  • You know how to deliver strong creative work under real-world constraints, including tight budgets, fast timelines, and limited direction.
  • You are comfortable creating structure, processes, and solutions when they do not already exist.
  • You have command of the full design process, from conceptual development through hands-on production.
  • You have expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, along with strong typography, layout, and design systems skills.
  • Experience with motion design and After Effects is a plus.
  • You are highly organized, attentive to detail, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • You can read and communicate effectively in English.
Our Non-Negotiables
  • You are willing to learn, grow, adapt, and remain artistically flexible.
  • You are above nothing, down for anything, a true team player, and an overall good person.
  • You are comfortable advocating for what you believe in while also being willing to admit when you do not know something.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of professional education and experience.
