Baseten is hiring a Web Designer / Design Engineer to own baseten.co from concept to production. You will design and build landing pages, bring product launches to life, run experiments, and raise the site quality.

This high-ownership role sits between brand design and frontend engineering, with autonomy to ship while collaborating with growth, product marketing, and leadership. You will craft reusable components, ensure typography and motion excellence, and turn complex product ideas into clear

Qualifications

• Fluency in modern frontend development: React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and frontend implementation of the Baseten marketing site.
• Ship landing pages, product pages, launches, and campaigns from concept through production.
• Improve the site continuously, finding and acting on opportunities to make it better.
• Partner with growth and product marketing to test messaging, layouts, and conversion improvements.
• Build polished interactions, motion, and details that make the site feel distinctly Baseten.
• Build and evolve the components, patterns, and design systems for rapid iteration.
• Turn complex technical products into clear, compelling web experiences.
• Prototype ambitious interactive ideas for launches.
• Make it easier for brand and marketing to publish great work online.
• Set the bar for web design and frontend craft across the company.
