Job summary

Moody's Investors Service seeks a data visualization/brand design intern to develop interactive and static charts from real datasets. Work spans editorial storytelling, typography, and visual design while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

You will contribute to geospatial storytelling, web-based components, and AI-assisted workflows, gaining hands-on experience in a premier financial data journalism environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to work during specified program dates and dates of June–August 2027.
• Interest in data visualization, journalism, and design with an editorial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Explore real-world datasets to extract meaning and shape editorial narratives.
• Conceptualize and build interactive and static charting components using JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Support digital design projects across the brand portfolio with typography and layout skills.
• Work with geospatial data and mapping tools to add geographic context.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, data analysts, researchers, and experts.
• Develop technical and professional skills under mentorship, including AI-assisted workflows.
