Job summary

The Native American Health Center in Oakland, CA seeks a Communications Coordinator to bolster our outreach under the guidance of the Communications Manager. You will lead NAHC's social media presence, develop print and multimedia materials, and drive campaigns to increase membership and brand trust.

Candidates will provide portfolio samples and may complete a short task to demonstrate skills. A Bachelor’s degree and experience in nonprofit marketing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in marketing, communications, or journalism with demonstrated writing/designing/production skills for nonprofit materials.
• Familiarity with social media best practices and leading campaigns.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NAHC's social media presence and compile analytic reports.
• Develop and design print and multimedia materials for campaigns.
• Coordinate events and fundraisers and manage vendor relations.
• Photograph and videograph events; contribute to video production.
• Write content for social media, website, press releases, and print materials.
