Job summary

Kate Spade New York, part of the Tapestry portfolio, is seeking an Associate Manager, Communications to support media relations, influencer engagement, events, and global brand storytelling. The role will collaborate with Senior managers to drive buzz and shape cultural conversations that resonate with key audiences.

The position covers press materials development, VIP partnerships, sample management, and reporting.

Qualifications

College degree; 3–5 years of relevant work experience in Communications, PR or Marketing (in-house and/or agency).
Strong written and verbal communication and cross-team collaboration.
Sharp instinct for evolving fashion, social & digital landscape.
Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Support external PR agencies in day-to-day activities from sample requests to image requests and credits.
Lead seasonal sample ordering for Domestic PR and VIP, and track orders with Global teams.
Develop press materials—look books, product decks, pitching collateral—and pitch to outlets.
Lead global reporting requirements (weekly recaps, quarterly reports) and maintain VIP archives.
Coordinate budgets, contracts, invoices, and other back-end administrative tasks.
