POSITION CONCEPT
Reporting to the Manager of Brand and Strategic Communications, the Brand and Strategic Communication (BSC) Strategist is responsible for building communication strategies and incorporating them into the organization’s broader integrated marketing communications plan. These communications focus on marketing, customer and stakeholder communications. The Strategist also supports the implementation of targeted communication strategies within the integrated marketing communication plan. The goal of this plan is to ensure the business strategy, goals and initiatives of Tampa Electric are accomplished.
This role is part of a team of strategic communication professionals. These professionals have a focus on strategy, marketing, media analysis, corporate communication, crisis communication and issues management. These strategic plans are integrated into employee, customer and stakeholder communication and marketing solutions. The Strategist partners with leaders throughout Tampa Electric to create and execute robust marketing and communication plans and provide sage insight on trends in communication and marketing. The Strategist provides expert analysis on the effectiveness of the marketing, stakeholder, media and customer communications.
