Position Summary:

Rhapsody is seeking a strategic and creative Manager, Brand and Communications to build and scale our brand platform and content ecosystem. In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Director of Demand Generation and CMO to develop our brand strategy and ensure it shows up consistently and powerfully across all go-to-market channels.

You will lead PR and thought leadership efforts, oversee our content strategy and editorial planning, and manage a network of creative contractors and agency partners. This role will also be responsible for elevating internal SME voices and engaging external influencers to grow awareness, credibility, and preference for Rhapsody.

This is a hands-on role with high visibility, cross-functional impact, and the opportunity to shape the brand of a modern healthcare data company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Rhapsody’s brand strategy and positioning in collaboration with executive leadership
  • Ensure all go-to-market messaging, campaigns, and external content align to and reinforce our brand narrative
  • Oversee public relations, including day-to-day agency management and securing earned media opportunities
  • Lead thought leadership and influencer marketing programs, elevating internal experts and engaging external voices
  • Build and execute our content strategy, including editorial planning, messaging frameworks, and integrated campaign assets
  • Manage our creative ecosystem, including content and copywriting contractors, a network of design specialists, and a design intern
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Channel Manager to ensure brand consistency across social and web platforms
  • Partner with performance and customer marketing teams to ensure content meets the needs of both prospective buyers and existing customers

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8–12 years of experience in brand, content, communications, or marketing leadership roles
  • Proven track record developing and executing brand strategy in a B2B tech or healthcare environment
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to shape messaging frameworks, thought leadership, and content programs
  • Experience managing PR and/or working with agency partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly collaborative and comfortable working across teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead contractors and creative teams toward high-quality, brand-aligned output
  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and get things done

Nice to have:

  • Experience in health tech, SaaS, or enterprise B2B
  • Background in brand or content roles at high-growth or PE-backed companies
  • Familiarity with social media and employee advocacy programs
  • Knowledge of professional influencer or analyst engagement strategies
