Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters Inc. in Grand Rapids is seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador to bring our brand to life in-store. You’ll provide every guest with an amazing shopping experience, promote AE & Aerie products, and introduce the loyalty program.

You'll work across salesfloor, cash wrap, fitting room, and stockroom, staying energetic, handling multiple tasks, and upholding company policies. Prior retail experience preferred, age 16+.

Qualifications

• You love interacting with people.
• You are full of energy and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• You are available to work when guests shop (evenings, weekends & holidays).
• You love AE and Aerie products.
• You have retail experience.
• You are at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Use the AEO Selling Model to engage with every guest to help them find exactly what they’re looking for, and you do so with a “friends first” mindset. (We’ll teach you everything you need to know.)
• You are passionate about AE & Aerie products and educate guests on product details, making product suggestions that fit their needs.
• You introduce the AEO loyalty program and additional brand channels to guests.
• You flex between the Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room and Stockroom as needed.
• You proactively resolve guest concerns while staying within company policy.
• You are a team player and assist your team in getting the job done.
• You act with integrity and always adhere to AEO’s policies & procedures.
