Job summary

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recent experience leading sales and marketing planning and execution with 3rd party/customers.
  • Working knowledge of media planning and measurement.

  • Effective communication in person, written and presentations.
  • Experience with MS Office, Excel tools and PowerPoint.

What role you will play in our team

The Shopper Marketing Advisor for Retail/Consumer Lubricants, serves an assigned key retail customer account which supports and collaborates with the overall customer account team. This role develops 1 year sales and marketing plans that deliver on business commitments and supports account sales and share growth. The role collaborates with customers using unbiased insights, analytics and promotions reporting based on a variety of data sources for the motor oil category. Primary focus is on marketing plan development, execution, and oversight of budget resources. Secondary focus is on agency oversight and delivering on marcomm objectives for media plans in both effectiveness and efficiency. This position is part of a customer team focused on growing Mobil 1 sales and share at assigned retailer(s) as well as developing relationships with the retailer(s) leadership. This role is based in Bentonville, AR working with retailers throughout North America. This position works under the direction of the North America Channel Marketing Manager

What you will do
  • Lead the development of all marketing activities for assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with and provide regular reporting for retailers to optimize promotional calendar and secure incremtanl placements/activations
  • Analyze, create and recommend actions to improve Marcomm/Media investments
  • Participate in customer meetings and lead marketing portion of Line reivews
  • Support cross-functional partners with ad hoc needs while upholding the strictest integrity of confidential customer information
  • Protect and grow premium product placements and promotions
  • Lead marketing activities, trade show activations, and events, contribute to customer presentations
  • Assess competitor and market threats and opportunities to identify ways to strength Mobil 1’s position in retail
About you

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of recent experience leading sales and marketing planning and execution with 3rd party/Customers
  • Working knowledge of media planning and measurement
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver results through others, project manage, and prioritize under tight timelines
  • Analytical skills (trend, data, financial)
  • Effective communication skills (in-person, written, presentation)
  • Project management and collaboration skills, direct customer interaction experience
  • Experience influencing without authority
  • Proficient in MS Office, preference for those particularly skilled with creating impactful Excel tools and PowerPoint communication
  • Proficient with supplemental data resources including syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, NPD) and customer point of sale data
  • Experience with a variety of categories and/or retailers
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to managing a complex workload
  • Proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau
