Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years welding experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Welder Certification Program required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to read AWS welding symbols and blueprints.
• Ability to read tape measures, calipers, squares and related inspection tools.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates welding equipment to construct parts from components.
• Measures and inspects parts for conformance to engineering specs and quality standards.
• Maintains inventory of welding materials and supplies.
• Completes quality and production documentation as required.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Reads weld procedures and adheres to safety policies.
