Job summary

Mechanics Bank is seeking a Wealth Advisor affiliated with LPL Financial to serve a dedicated branch client base in Salinas. You will deliver non-deposit investment products and advisory solutions, while building strong relationships with branch staff and retail clients.

The role emphasizes an advice-based approach to financial solutions, including investment and insurance products, with a focus on meeting sales goals within regulatory requirements and a community-focused bank environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of investment sales experience in a financial institution.
• Active State Life Insurance license, Series 7, Series 63/65/66 as required by state of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and related applications are useful.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated Wealth Advisor for the branch(es) and deliver NDIPs and advisory services.
• Provide needs-based financial solutions including brokerage, advisory, and insurance products.
• Build strong relationships with branch staff and Centers of Influence; support cross-selling.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and deliver high-quality customer service on every interaction.
