Job summary

United Refrigeration, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily branch operations, pull customer orders, and put away stock. Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, preparing orders for carriers, receiving goods, and handling related paperwork.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy boxes, stand for extended periods, and work at a fast, accurate pace while maintaining safety and courtesy with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Ability to use computer system as pertains to the job.
• Able to work at a fast but accurate pace and handle high volume.
• Ability to get along with customers and other employees, follow directions and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders for customers, check orders for accuracy.
• Load and unload shipments/deliveries in a timely manner while using proper equipment.
• Prepare product for shipment via UPS, FedEx and common carrier.
• Receive shipments from UPS, FedEx and common carrier.
• Handle and process paperwork on damaged product.
• Prepare Returns and Reclaims for shipment including appropriate paperwork.
• Break down and put away stock using proper equipment.
• Greet customers promptly and courteously by name (if known).
• Answer telephones promptly and courteously identifying yourself and the company.
• Regular and punctual attendance.
