Job summary

Patelco Credit Union is seeking a Branch Team Lead to deliver high quality member service while handling complex issues. You will leverage knowledge of Patelco products to maximize member financial well-being and serve as a trusted advisor in our branches.

In this role you will support branch leadership, ensure policy and regulatory compliance, and coach team members. A strong background in cash handling and banking workflows is required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of cash handling experience.
• 2-3 years in financial services or sales environment.
• Strong customer service and sales skills, banking/retail preferred.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Windows and MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to multi-task.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and policies.
• Reliable, organized and flexible with working hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best in class service to members with courteous interactions.
• Focus on member financial well-being and act in members' best interests.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to execute initiatives and mentor staff.
• Identify solutions for new and existing members based on needs.
• Conduct transactions such as opening accounts, loan processing, deposits, and withdrawals.
• Learn and adapt to new information, procedures, and technology.
• Identify coaching opportunities to develop team members.
• Support branch strategies to grow initiatives and ensure compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of product guides, fees, and policies.
• Ensure adherence to laws and Patelco policies; partake in audits.
