Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Branch Supervisor to oversee a small branch’s staff and operations in Upstate New York. You will ensure compliance, manage cash and records, and drive customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead daily activities, supervise personnel, and work with management to achieve growth and profitability targets while maintaining strong relationship with customers and cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. degree or equivalent banking education and training.
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum four (4) years’ experience in related positions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise branch staff and operations; oversee service operations, approvals, and reports.
• Assist management in setting growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office.
• Solicit new business and maintain current customer relationships for cross-selling.
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback to management.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer products and services to meet customer needs.
• Schedule and lead staff meetings; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts; may make loans with oversight.
• Travel to other branches in the area to provide support as needed.
