Description

* Under the direction of the branch manager and assistant, provide prompt, efficient, and friendly services to customers, including cash receipt and payment, and recognize customer needs with appropriate suggestions for the bank's services.

* Follow established policies in accordance with the bank's and supervisor's directives.

* Ensure that each personal banker/teller balances correctly and assist in resolving any discrepancies.

* Ensure all differences are properly initialed and, if necessary, reported immediately to the manager.

* Achieve monthly new account targets as assigned by upper management.

* Guide, develop, and assist in the growth and sales production of personal bankers.

* Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, bank-to-bank wires, savings bonds, travelers' checks, and certificates of deposit.

* Serve a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish-speaking population.

* Maintain a neat and organized appearance of the teller area and personnel, in accordance with bank policy.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand or walk for extended periods, depending on branch location.
• Operate a computer and other office machinery.
• Lift up to 25 lbs.
