Job summary

1stnb is seeking a customer-focused banking professional to join our branch team as a teller/personal banker. The role emphasizes cash handling, sales of bank products, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors. Background checks are mandatory to ensure compliance and security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months cash handling experience in a sales or customer service role.
• Experience in production accountability.
• Ability to pass background check per company policy.
• Work schedule must include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to customers, handling cash receipts and payments.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Promote bank products and services to support customers' financial needs and relationships.
• Ensure personal teller balances and identify discrepancies; report any discrepancies to the manager.
• Support personal banker growth and assist in sales production.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Provide banking services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Maintain neat teller area in accordance with policy.
• Attend business development calls or sales opportunities with management.
