Job summary

Eastern Bank is seeking a Branch Assistant Manager I in Dedham, MA. Under general direction, you will assist with the daily management of a banking office, drive personal sales goals, and coach the platform staff toward branch objectives.

You will also oversee branch operations, ensure compliance with policies, and act as manager on duty when the Branch Manager is away. A solid sales/service background in retail banking is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and service track record in retail banking.
• Ability to communicate clearly and build relationships across the organization.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a branch setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily management of a banking office under the branch manager.
• Meet personal sales goals and guide sales activities of staff toward branch goals.
• Coach staff on sales and service using proven techniques.
• Oversee daily branch operations including overdraft and vault management, schedules, opening/closing, and audit/compliance.
