Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable work experience.
• At least 2 years' experience in construction safety.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build client relationships.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and administering safety plans, policies, and procedures.
• Provide safety technical guidance, training, and resources to branch and workers.
• Identify and mitigate safety and health hazards.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for policy compliance.
• Promote safe work practices through coaching and engagement.
• Investigate and report injuries and near-misses, enforce corrective actions.
• Review safety incidents and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure timely submission of safety reports and documentation.
• Act as liaison with clients regarding site safety management.
• Establish branch and project safety goals.
• Evaluate and approve safety equipment and PPE.
