Performance Contracting seeks a Branch Safety Engineer for the PCI Columbus 582 operations based in Dublin, OH. The role involves administering safety programs, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with clients to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OH&S or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and administering safety programs and policies.
• Provide safety technical expertise, training, and resources to the branch and workers.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, both routine and non-routine.
• Conduct job site inspections to assess compliance with safety policies.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices through coaching and engagement.
• Investigate and report work-related injuries, ensuring corrective actions.
• Review safety incidents and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Submit safety reports, statistics, and documentation timely.
• Act as liaison between the company and clients on site safety management.
• Establish branch and project safety goals ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Evaluate and approve safety equipment and PPE.
