Job summary

Nevada State Bank, a division of Zions Bancorporation, N.A., is hiring a Branch Relationship Banker for the Eastern / St. Rose branch in Las Vegas, NV. Branch hours are Monday through Friday, with a primary focus on sales and service within the branch.

You will provide full-service banking, open accounts, process loans, resolve client issues, and refer clients to other bank products. Strong communication and 2+ years banking experience required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a universal banker/personal banker or similar retail banking role.
• Previous experience in a financial sales role is preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of banking products, services, and transactions.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-service banking services to new and existing customers with a sales and service focus.
• Resolve client concerns directly or by referring to other bank departments.
• Make referrals for other bank products and services, including commercial lending.
• Follow up with clients as needed.
• Perform cash transactions, open or update accounts, and originate/close consumer or small business loans if needed.
• Maintain a strong customer relationship through personalized service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are now accepting applications for a Branch Relationship Banker to join the team located at our Eastern / St. Rose branch in Las Vegas, NV. Branch hours are Monday through Friday.

Essential Functions:

• Perform full-service banking services to new and existing customers within the branch, with a primary focus on sales and service. Duties may include new accounts, consumer loans, and performing client services issues.
• Resolve client concerns through direct personal action or by referring clients to an alternative bank department resource.
• Be responsible for making appropriate referrals for other bank products and services, including commercial lending products.
• Follow up with clients as needed.
• If needed, be responsible to perform cash transactions, open or update accounts, originate and close consumer or small business loans.
• Be responsible to resolve customer service issues.
• Establish, expand and maintain a strong customer relationship by providing extensive, personalized service focused on the specific needs of each banking customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years' experience as a universal banker/personal banker or similar retail banking role. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
• Previous experience in a financial sales representative-oriented role preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of mathematical calculations and standard banking products, services, and transactions.
• Strong knowledge of all retail products and services.
• Basic knowledge of consumer lending applications.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills.
• Strong mathematical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Strong interpersonal & relationship building skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Pay range (depending on experience): $24 - $26/hour
