Job summary

American Welding & Gas is seeking an energetic Assistant Branch Manager for our Orlando, FL location. You will direct day-to-day sales, warehousing, distribution and production with P&L responsibilities.

The role requires overseeing store safety, staff supervision, customer service excellence, and implementing daily plant activities. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, and prior management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months to 1 year of industry experience preferred.
• Experience with hazardous materials preferred; valid license and clean driving record.
• Strong judgement and management skills with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day sales, warehousing, distribution, and production with P&L responsibilities.
• Oversee safety and efficiency of the entire store.
• Supervise staff to meet customer needs with excellent service.
• Assist the manager with opening and closing duties daily.
• Maintain knowledge of branch SOPs and safety policies.
• Assist in organizing daily plant activities and strategies.
• Assist in hiring, orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Promote a safe culture and organized work environment.
