Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking an energetic Branch Manager for the Columbia, SC location to direct day-to-day sales, warehousing, distribution, and production with P&L responsibilities.

Lead safety initiatives, ensure timely customer deliveries, and maintain strong customer service while driving branch profitability through effective staff, expense, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong administrative, organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of sales, warehousing, distribution and production with P&L responsibilities.
• Lead safety initiatives and enforce safety rules.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective customer deliveries.
• Provide upbeat, solution-oriented customer service to walk-ins, phone and delivery customers.
• Improve branch profitability by managing sales, margins and expenses.
