You will foster customer relations, support the outside sales team, and help execute shipments and transfers. The role emphasizes account development, vendor interactions, and maintaining a professional branch image while ensuring timely problem resolution and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Sales experience, demonstrating the ability to convert prospects into customers.
• Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Fork Truck Certified.
• Must possess valid driver’s license.
• Excellent listening skills, self-motivated, with high energy and enthusiasm.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain branch security, opening and closing of branch.
• Attend weekly branch manager's meetings.
• Manage workflow to balance priorities and provide backup support.
• Perform any branch job function as needed.
• Ensure facility is neat and professional.
• Solicit feedback for personal or operational improvement.
• Support outside sales force and assist in building orders.
• Generate and execute product shipments and transfers.
• Work with customers to solve challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and resolve issues promptly.
• Direct and coordinate counter efforts and account development.
• Maintain friendly, professional customer service over counter and phone.
• Penetrate targeted accounts and drive sales within client base.
• Overcome objections, quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare orders.
• Build a network of referrals to create new opportunities for gross profit growth.
• Develop and maintain new customer accounts to increase revenue.
