Job summary

Vanir Installed Sales, LLC is seeking a seasoned Operations Leader to drive project results across exterior construction and siding installations.

You will supervise and mentor Area Construction Managers, ensuring safety, quality, and cost control while optimizing labor, materials, and schedules across multiple crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7–10 years exterior construction / siding installation experience.
• 5+ years leadership overseeing multiple crews or projects.
• Experience managing 15+ direct and indirect reports.
• Strong knowledge of exterior cladding systems, codes, and OSHA safety.
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and installation diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Area Construction Managers and Field Managers to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget projects with Vanir quality.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA requirements, and conduct jobsite audits.
• Coach and develop field leadership through evaluations and training.
• Monitor profitability, costs, and production reporting to improve margins.
• Maintain quality assurance through inspections, punch-lists, and warranty compliance.

What you will do

• Operational Leadership: Lead Area Construction Managers and Field Managers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to Vanir quality standards while optimizing labor, materials, equipment, and crew productivity.


• Safety Management: Champion and enforce Vanir safety policies and OSHA requirements through jobsite audits, safety meetings, incident investigations, corrective actions, and proper safety equipment management.


• Performance Management: Supervise, coach, and develop field leadership through performance evaluations, ongoing feedback, training, succession planning, and appropriate corrective action.


• Financial Performance: Monitor job profitability, labor and material costs, operational expenses, job costing, and production reporting while identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve margins.


• Quality Assurance: Maintain installation and craftsmanship standards through quality-control inspections, punch-list resolution, manufacturer and warranty compliance, and strong relationships with customers, trade partners, and suppliers.

What We Are Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or a related field preferred.


• Minimum seven to ten (7–10) years of experience in exterior construction / siding installation.


• At least five (5) years of progressive leadership experience managing multiple crews or projects.


• Demonstrated experience managing 15+ direct and indirect reports.


• Strong knowledge of exterior cladding systems, installation methods, building codes, and OSHA construction safety requirements.


• Proficient in reading blueprints, specifications, and installation diagrams.


• Proficient with Vanir systems, Google Suite, construction management software, project scheduling, and resource planning tools.


• Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.


• Strong problem-solving, decision‑making, organization, and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive operational improvements.

Preferred:

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.


• Previous experience in residential construction or an installed‑sales environment.


• Knowledge of lean construction principles and continuous‑improvement methodologies.


• Experience with vinyl, fiber cement, and other exterior cladding products.


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills.
