Job summary

Excelion Partners is seeking a General Manager / Branch Manager for its Little Rock, Arkansas facility. You will lead a 6–7 person team of sales engineers, field technicians, and operations staff while managing key municipal and industrial client relationships across Arkansas.

In this hands-on player/coach role, you will oversee branch P&L, budgeting, inventory, safety, and service delivery to ensure alignment with strategic goals and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operational or technical sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Branch Management & P&L: Oversee day-to-day branch performance, facility operations, local budgeting, inventory, and staff development.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with municipal utilities, public works, engineering firms, and regional developers.
• Team Leadership: Hands-on player/coach guiding sales engineers and field service technicians on bids, delivery, and service.
• Operational Quality: Ensure field teams meet technical standards, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction goals.

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 Base Salary + Annual Bonus (20–30% Target)

About the Role

We are an established regional provider of heavy industrial and municipal flow control equipment, environmental systems, and aftermarket field services. We partner with local municipalities, civil consultants, and commercial developers across the region on critical infrastructure projects.

Following recent organizational growth, we are looking for a General Manager / Branch Manager to lead our Little Rock, Arkansas facility.

The Opportunity: Player / Coach Leadership

This role is designed for a mid-career engineering or technical sales professional ready to step into full operational and commercial branch management.

As General Manager, you will lead a team of 6–7 direct reports—including technical sales reps, field technicians, and operations support—while directly managing key client relationships across Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities

• Branch Management & P&L: Oversee day‑to‑day branch performance, facility operations, local budgeting, inventory, and staff development.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain long‑term working relationships with municipal utility directors, public works departments, engineering firms, and regional developers.
• Team Leadership: Serve as a hands‑on "player/coach," guiding sales engineers and field service technicians on job bids, customer delivery, and service execution.
• Operational Quality: Ensure field service teams meet technical standards, safety protocols, and customer satisfaction goals.

Requirements & Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline).
• Industry Background: 5+ years of operational or technical sales experience with industrial machinery, fluid systems, rotating equipment, or public infrastructure.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience managing team dynamics, field personnel, or commercial accounts with strong written and verbal communication.
