Job summary

RECO Equipment, Inc. is a full line distributor providing heavy and compact equipment, including parts and service support at branch locations.

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the parts and service departments and manage day-to-day branch operations in La Vergne, TN. The role requires driving and leadership capabilities, with a focus on protecting inventory, building customer relationships, and coordinating with sales and rental teams to optimize equipment distribution.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and meet General Liability driving requirements to operate a company vehicle when necessary.
• Professionalism and teamwork are valued to create a cohesive work environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to understand P&L statements.
• Exceptional communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient handling and control of the parts and service department.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the branch.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the facility.
• Protect equipment and parts inventory.
• Provide a customer centric solutions providing approach that meets and exceeds our customers expectations.
• Dispatch and control the service dept.
• Provide technicians with the tools (training, support, and parts) needed to complete jobs.
• Manage Service labor
• Manage the parts and service departments.
• Provide professional and accurate invoices.
• Build and sustain customer relationships.
• Work with the sales and rental department on the distribution of equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
