Job summary

Blackhawk Industrial Group is seeking a Branch Manager for the Baton Rouge area to own the branch P&L, budgeting, staffing, dispatch, and facility operations. The role emphasizes safe operations, strong teams, and lasting customer relationships.

Responsibilities include managing revenue and margins, coordinating with HR on hires, and ensuring compliance with regulations while driving growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience in relevant fields.
• 3-4 years of P&L management experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships at all levels.
• Availability for a highly flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Own the branch P&L, including revenue, gross margin, labor, equipment, materials, rentals, subcontractors, and overhead.
• Develop annual budget using market projections and fleet needs; monitor results and adjust.
• Champion health and safety as a priority; track safety metrics with leadership; ensure compliance.
• Align staffing with backlog and workload; monitor overtime and labor trends.
• Lead HR/recruiting on hiring; conduct performance reviews and compensation decisions.
• Oversee dispatch and scheduling to maximize utilization across branches.
