Rheem Manufacturing Company’s Rheem Northeast Distribution in Totowa, NJ is seeking a dedicated Branch Manager to lead operations, customer service, and team development at our distribution branch. The role reports to the regional leadership and focuses on service to residential contractors and the multifamily market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a distribution or warehouse environment, with a focus on strong customer service acumen
• Hydronics and HVAC knowledge/experience
• Experience managing and developing a team
• Knowledge of business principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and team leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with operational systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyze data and implement actionable insights.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all branch operations, including customer transactions, warehouse management, inventory, delivery, and financial transactions.
• Ensure the branch operates to the highest standards and meets key performance metrics.
• Provide input on the annual budget and manage monthly profit and loss (P&L) performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, sales, and other cross-functional teams to support current and potential customers and the overall business.
• Promote and enforce a safe, compliant, and hazard‑free work environment by leading safety practices, upholding company guidelines, and ensuring all employees are trained and supported in maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Guarantee top-tier customer service in every transaction, building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
• Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Foster a positive and safe workplace culture aligned with our core values.
• Set clear expectations for employees and provide ongoing coaching, development, and feedback.
• Promote and enable training and professional growth opportunities for team members.
