Job summary

Acme Construction Supply Inc. in Boise, ID, is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, drive branch growth, and maintain strong customer relationships within the warehouse and inside sales teams.

The role reports to the Regional Manager and requires strategic planning, people leadership, and hands-on management of inventory, pricing, and service quality. Salary range is $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year plus monthly incentive bonuses based on core metrics and a year-end

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive promotion with Acme, and/or 5 years previous managerial/supervisory experience.
Intermediate to advance experience within the construction supply/distribution industry.
Intermediate to Advance experience and utilization with Outlook; Solar Eclipse, Monday.com, Phocas, etc.
Good knowledge of math and ability to correctly calculate margins, discounts and percentages; understand and analyze complex reports.

Responsibilities

Manages, oversees, and supports all aspects of branch profit center (operations, sales, admin, etc.).
Executes on Acme’s policies and procedures regarding day-to-day branch operations and counter sales activities;
Develops forecasts, financial objectives and business plans and determines profitable vs non-profitable branch business.
Fosters and develops strong relationships with customers and vendor partners.
Oversees sales counter activities and customer satisfaction, including invoice queue and backorders, will call, and other tasks as needed.
Oversees warehouse activities, including receiving, order pulling and product delivery.
Oversees and executes on Acme’s safety policies and procedures.
Participates in interviewing, hiring, training and termination of employees.
Develops and assesses performance and handles corrective actions as needed.
Addresses customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
Reviews timesheets to ensure accuracy and addresses issues.
Develops programs to promote teamwork, skills-building and morale.
Provides regular communication to Regional Manager on branch information.
Collaborates with Outside Sales Team on training, marketing, and sales presentations.
Presents product demonstrations to customers and Acme teams.
Tracks and responds to sales inquiries to maintain customer satisfaction and relationships.
Participates in sales and marketing events.
Educates customers on Acme’s products and services.
Maintains awareness of pricing and sales guidelines.
Identifies opportunities to upsell and increase profitability.
Communicates inventory or pricing discrepancies to Management and Purchasing.
Develops product and inventory knowledge through training.
Participates in vendor-led training and other opportunities.
Acts as ambassador of company culture, brand, and values.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager.
